Sardar Attique, three ex-premiers win seats in AJK elections

MUZAFFARRABAD: Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Prime Minister Sardar Attique Ahmed Khan and former premiers Raja Farooq Haider, Sardar Yaqoon Khan and Barrister Sultan Mehmood have won their respective seats in AJK Legislative Assembly elections, Geo News reported on Monday. The Pakistan People's Party (PPP) candidates and former Prime Minister of AJK Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry won the seat by securing 17390 votes from LA-3 (City Mirpur-III) and Sardar Yaqoob won the seat from (LA 19 Rawalakot-3) and secured 27640 votes. President Muslim Conference Sardar Attique Ahmad Khan secured 20115 votes and won the seat from (LA-13,Bagh-1) PML-N candidate and former PM AJK Raja Farooq Haider won seats from two constituencies LA 26 and LA 28. He received 25182 votes from LA 28, Muzaffarrabad 5.
