Shahzad autopsy performed 48 hrs after death: Report

ISLAMABAD: The Punjab and Islamabad police have submitted the initial investigation reports of journalist Saleem Shahzad’s murder to the Supreme Court of Pakistan, Geo News reported. According to the reports, there is a 48 hour difference between the time of Saleem Shahzad’s death and when his post mortem was conducted. The report submitted by the Islamabad police said that Saleem Shahzad was using two mobile phones but the police was yet to receive the record of the phones’ data from the concerned companies. The report also stated that the private TV channel where the journalist had given his last interview had yet to provide CCTV footage from that day.
