CDGK over Rs70 billion surplus budget today

KARACHI: City District Government Karachi (CDGK) over Rs70 billion surplus budget will be presented today. Sources said that CDGK budget for the next fiscal year would be of Rs70.69159 billion, which also includes Rs26.22515 billion for Karachi Sewerage Board’s budget. City Government has estimated upcoming fiscal year’s income at Rs70.79442, thus it would be a surplus budget of Rs100.283 million. The budget envisages completing 80 development schemes in 2011-12.
