 Govt likely to receive report on Kharotabad incident today QUETTA: The tribunal formed to probe Kharotabad incident under the supervision of Balochistan High Court (BHC) Judge Justice Hashim Kakar has completed its report. It is expected that the tribunal will present its report to the Balochistan government today (Tuesday), Geo News reported.

Security personnel killed five foreigners including three women on May 17 in Kharotabad area of Quetta. The Balochistan government, on May 20, formed a commission to investigate the incident, headed by the BHC Justice Hashim Kakar.

The team initiated its formal investigation on May 31 by recording statements of 28 witnesses and gathering video and pictorial evidences of the killing of the foreigners by the police and FC personnel. The investigating team also visited the site where the incident took place.

As the committee was set to present its reports within a month after the incident occured, it is reported that the tribunal has completed and compiled its report and will present it to the Balochistan government today
