PNS Mehran attackers had inside help: Navy officials

  ISLAMABAD: The National Assembly’s Standing Committee on Defence has been briefed by the Navy on the PNS Mehran attack probe, Geo News reported.

According to sources, Navy officials said that four terrorists were involved in the attack and evidence had also been found which indicated that the terrorists were receiving help from inside the base.

The in-camera briefing lasted for two hours. The committee was told that the internal probe of the attack was completed but the investigation into the external factors was still being conducted.
