 Petrol shortage irks Karachiites LAHORE: Petrol shortage hit motorists in the metropolis on Wednesday.

According to Petroleum Dealers Association (PDA), shortage of petrol is not because of the pump owners but due to the reason that oil companies reduced the supply by 50 percent.

Long queues of motorcycles have been witnessed on the petrol pumps in various areas of the metropolis.

Talking to Geo News, Chairman PDA Abdul Sami Khan said that petrol companies have cut the supply by 50 percent to the pumps causing the petrol shortage.

Replying to the question, he said that petrol pump owners across the country would go on strike if their profit would not be increased.
