Eid-ul-Fitr in Saudi Arabia, UAE & Egypt on Tuesday

DUBAI: Saudi Arabia announced Monday that the Eid-ul-Fitr feast marking the end of the fasting month of Ramazan will be on Tuesday, in a statement aired on state television Al-Ekhbariyah. Religious authorities in Saudi Arabia, said the Shawwal moon had been sighted and that Ramazan ends on Monday with the Eid to follow the next day. Egyptian state television, quoting authorities, too declared that Eid al-Fitr will be on Tuesday. The United Arab Emirates and Qatar also announced the end of Ramazan. (AFP)
