Speaking at a press conference in Hyderabad Awami Tehreek chief Ayaz Lateef Paleejo accused Pakistan People's Party (PPP) government of playing politics at the expense of Sindh's interests.

He noted that now PPP is neither a party of Sindh nor of Pakistan it is following the policy of General Zia and Musharraf.

In Karachi, President Jeay Sindh Tehreek (JST) Dr Safdar Sarki also announced to observe a shutter down strike.

Dr Sarki demanded that the ordinance which has divided the province over administrative basis be taken back. JST leader addressed the media at Karachi Press Club (KPC).

He pointed out that by issuing this ordinance Pakistan People's Party (PPP) and Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has tried to divide the province, which is condemnable.
