PML-Q submits resolution for new provinces in Punjab

LAHORE: PML-Q parliamentary leader in Punjab Assembly Chaudhary Zaheer Hussain on behalf of his party has submitted a motion in the parliament on the formation of new provinces, Geo News reported. Talking to 'Geo' on this occasion, he was optimistic that no one can oppose this resolution. To a question, Chaudhary Zaheer said they had not contacted PML-N in this regard but PML-Q believed the former would not oppose it. Meanwhile, PML-N leader Rana Sanaullah has said that if PML-Q has the required number of members, as per the constitution, whey they cannot form their own government in the province. He termed it PPP's game, saying that 40 years ago it divided Pakistan and now it is working on the agenda of division of Punjab.
