APCNGA rejects gas load-shedding plan |
ISLAMABAD: All Pakistan CNG Association (APCNGA), dismissing the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) decision regarding three-day gas load-shedding in Punjab and two days in Sindh, urged the authorities not to force the CNG stations workers, taxi and rickshaw drivers to commit suicide. APCNGA’s supreme council president, Ghiyas Paracha in a statement issued here said that the decision relating to re-impose two-day break in supplies to CNG stations was in blatant breach of the Sindh High Court (SHC) orders. He said that in Punjab extending the duration of two-day break to three was share injustice. Ghiyas Paracha said that the gas load-shedding and hiking prices were double edged sword, which would fall on the already bleeding hapless consumers. He said that APCNGA was being pushed to stage strong protests instead of reconciliation. He said that gas load-shedding was a conspiracy against the government and appealed to the president and the prime minister to take immediate notice. |
