JOHANSBERG: South Africa is celebrating as former icon president Nelson Mandela celebrates his 93rd birthday on Monday. Madiba is spending the day quietly with his family in Qunu in the Eastern Cape. The Nelson Mandela Foundation’s Achmat Dangor said, “He will be with his family in the Eastern Cape and is happy and content. He is enjoying his birthday. That is all we can say.” The United Nations has already announced celebrating Nelson Mandela birthday as global peace and freedom. South African youths celebrating the icon leader’s birthday holding many functions and carnivals besides the working class has volunteered working today for extra one hour. | ||
