 Assad loyals, militiamen clashes kill 10

  DAMASCUS: Syrian forces and militiamen loyal to President Bashar al-Assad killed 10 people in attacks on residential districts in Homs on Monday, the Local Co-ordination Committees activist group said.

"Scores of people have also been wounded. Security forces and shabbiha (militiamen) are rampaging in streets and firing randomly. Whole neighbourhoods are besieged," the group said in a statement.

Demonstrations against President Bashar al-Assad continuing since last four months and later the Assad loyalists came in countering the militiamen, which saw the week ended with 30 killed in clashed from both sides.
