Commission on Abt operation in two days: Malik |
Updated at: 2245 PST, Sunday, May 29, 2011 LAHORE: Federal Interior Minister Abdul Rehman Malik has said an investigation commission on Abbottabad operation will be constituted within two days whose credit will go to entire parliament, Geo News reported. Talking to media after condolence to the family of martyr Lieutenant Yasir Abbas, Malik said drones strikes were a daily routine three years ago but after Osama’s fallout Pakistan’s position has seen stability. He said Al-Qaeda and Taliban have ranked Pakistan their number 1 enemy after killing of Osama. He said attack on Mehran base was a part of a plan, advising that politicians should get united to safeguard sovereignty of country. He said the duty of the commission would be finding out intelligence failure regarding the hideout of Osama Bin Laden, appealing Sharif Brothers to think in favour of Pakistan. President and Prime Minister have told US that more drone attacks are not acceptable and ISI and CIA would jointly take action against high-value target. |
