This is the second attack on those Nato supply tankers, which were returned back to the port city Karachi, owing to a blockade imposed by Pakistan on Afghanistan-bound Nato supplies.
Earlier, armed gunmen commandeered two supply tankers near Qila Abdullah.
All these attacks are said to be a reaction to the unprovoked Nato attack on a Pakistani border outpost in Mohmand Agency, which killed 26 Pakistan Army troops.
