DHAKA: Pakistan resumed their first innings on 292-3 on the fourth day of the second and final Test being played against Bangladesh here at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur on Tuesday.
Veteran batsman Younis Khan fell early in the morning in the second over of the day after adding one run to his overnight score of 48, just one run short of his 26th Test fifty.
Skipper Misbah-ul-Haq, who resumed the batting with Younis, has so far hit an unbeaten 40 and newcomer Asad Shafiq was not out on 15.
Pakistan are 322-4, 46 runs behind with six wickets in hand to overtake Bangladesh’s first innings total of 338.
Pakistan lead the series 1-0 after winning the opening Test by an innings and 184 runs.
