Karachi issue likely to dominate NA, Senate sessions today ISLAMABAD: The stormy sessions of the Senate and National Assembly (NA) are scheduled to held today (Monday) evening, Geo News reported. The sessions are likely to discuss poor law and order situation in Karachi.

According to sources, the new sessions of the two houses are also likely to focus on an ongoing operation by the police and paramilitary Rangers to hunt for alleged criminals and illegal weapons.

A strong reaction of some political parties is also expected to create uproar in the houses against statements of senior PPP member Dr Zulfiqar Mirza and MQM leader Altaf Hussain.

Parliamentary groups of most parties are due to hold separate meetings on Monday before the start of the two sessions (Senate at 4pm and the National Assembly at 5pm) to chalk out their lines of action.
