Rupee gains against dollar in open market

 Rupee gains against dollar in open market KARACHI: The US dollar on Tuesday lost paisas 50 against rupee in the open market which closed at Rs89.50, Geo News reported.

President Exchange Companies of Pakistan, Haji Haroon and Chairman Malik Bostan told Geo News that the open market witnessed a 50 paisas decline in dollar after the State Bank of Pakistan's assured exchange companies of provision of money. The dollar is now being bought at Rs89 and sold at 89.50.

Haji Haroon cited decrease in the value of dollar in the international market as another reason for stability in the value of the rupee.
