RIM refuses to hand memo data to Pakistan

TORONTO: Blackberry maker, Research in Motion (RIM), has refused to release data related to memogate scandal, Geo News reported.

According to details, Canada-based phone manufacturer has said that their privacy laws strictly prohibit disclosure of a customer’s data to any other party without the consent of the one concerned, thus Pakistan cannot have it.

Company also revealed that they have launched this response after receiving a sealed letter from the Attorney General of Pakistan.
