IMF programme ends; Pakistan needs funds for payment

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan, after the end of IMF programme, is in need of funds for making foreign payments and now the Ministry for Economic Affairs is mulling over getting assistance from World Bank under Disbursement Link Indicators, Geo News reported on Monday.

Sources at the Ministry for Economic Affairs told Geo News that the obtainment of assistance from the World Bank was being considered for financing the development projects.

Under this programme, funds could be obtained in the least amount of time for uplift projects in health, education and energy sectors.
