Rahul accepts invitation to Pakistan

NEW DELHI: Rahul Gandhi, leader of the Indian National Congress, accepted Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s invitation to visit Pakistan here on Sunday.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Chairman of Pakistan People's Party is accompanying his father Asif Ali Zardari, President of Pakistan, during his day-long private visit to India.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Rahul Gandi held a 40-minutes long meeting during which President Asif Ali Zardari was also invited by Rahul Gandi to undertake one more visit to India.

Earlier on Sunday, President Zardari met with Indian Prime Minister Mahnmohan Singh and invited him to Pakistan. Singh accepted the invitation, saying he would visit Pakistan at a convenient time.

During the meeting, President Zardari and PM Singh also discussed bilateral issues including that of Hafiz Saeed, Siachen, Sir Creek and Kashmir.
