CM shakes up Sindh portfolios

CM shakes up Sindh portfolios KARACHI: Chief Minister, Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah, has shaken up the provincial portfolios, Geo News reported.

A notification has been issued in this regard.

As per official declaration, Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) Faisal Sabzwari will now lead the Ministry of Youth Affairs, Raza Haroon Ministry of Information Technology, and Abdul Haseeb will minister Religious Affairs.

Moreover, Muslim League Functional’s (PML-F) Jam Madad Ali who was previously at the helm of Youth Affairs has been given the office of Minister for Science and Technology. Similarly PML-F’s advisor Imtiaz Shaikh has been tasked with the Ministry of Special Education instead of Information Technology, while status quo has been maintained in the case of his party-fellow Dr Mohammad Rafique Banbhan who will continue to hold the portfolio of Auqaf like before.

Pakistan People’s Party’s Ali Nawaz Shah will take care of the Department of Forests and not the Special Education henceforth, whereas PPP’s Akhtar Jadoon will be the driving seat of Transport Department once again.
