PML-N quits 18th amend implementation commission |
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) has resolved to bid farewell to 18th amendment implementation commission here on Wednesday, Geo News has learnt. According to sources privy to PML-N, the decision came in the backdrop of government’s much criticized resolve to devolve Higher Education Commission (HEC). Also, PML-N had reservations over the government’s decision to transfer assets to provinces, sources claimed. Sources said that PML-N’s senior leader and the Deputy Chairman of the commission Ishaq Dar wrote a five-page letter to Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani to apprise latter of his party’s resolve and tendered his resignation being Deputy Chairman of the commission |
